Skating to “Wonderwall”, Paul Fentz earned 68.80 points
“I am finished with the short program, unfortunately the toeloop didn’t work once again. But I can realize the progress and it is getting better and better in competitions and in practice. So maybe the breakthrough will be realized in the free skating tomorrow and I can nail the toeloop. I am satisfied with the points and the place, a second place is always good. A first one is better, but that was not enough today. I hope all of you will watch the livestream of NRW Trophy tomorrow, see you!” Paul Fentz stated.

Currently ranked 7th Romain PONSART (FRA) stated: „I am not satisfied, but I come back from an injury and started practice one month ago. As well I changed my coach. That’s why I am working step by step. I missed the triple lutz and made some mistakes in the spins. Nothing was really bad, but these are details to work on and I am looking forward to improve.”
