Nicole Schott strikes the gold

Nicole SCHOTT of Germany defended her first place after the Short Program in the ladies event at NRW Trophy 2016. Loena HENDRICKX (BEL) and Germany’s Nathalie WEINZIERL moved up from fourth to take the bronze.

Nicole SCHOTT put out a breathtakingly beautiful and technical ambitious free skating with amazing level four spins to score 110.10 points. She collected 167,70 points overall. Loena HENDRICKX remained second with 160,08 points. Nathalie WEINZIERL was rewarded with the third place in the free skating judgement and moved up from fourth to third at 157,11 points. Giada Russo showed beautiful gestures and facial expressions but slipped from third to fourth with 151.97 points.

Our German participants Nicole and Nathalie are now looking forward to the German Championchips in two weeks and are glad about their good results at NRW Trophy, because the results count for the qualification to the European Championships:

All the best to Suisse’s Déborah PISA, who got injured during the warm-up time. We hope you will get well soon!
